Frequently asked questions
How do I mark a museum as visited?
Just tap "Visited it" on the museum page. If visit suggestions are on, the app will suggest marking it with a notification after you spend 15 minutes at a museum.
How do My Travel Map and badges work?
On Profile > My Travel Map, provinces are colored by the museums you visit; once you visit every museum in a province, it turns green. You earn badges based on how many museums, provinces, regions and categories you visit.
How do I create a trip plan?
Add up to 10 museums with "Add to Plan" on a museum page, then open Profile > My Trip Plan. The app orders them along the shortest route from where you are and estimates the timing.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Under Settings > Notifications you can turn announcements, nearby museum notifications and visit suggestions on or off separately.
Why can't I see museums near me?
The app needs location access. You can allow it in your phone's Settings > Müze Radar > Location.
A museum's information is wrong. What should I do?
Write to dev@muzeradar.com with the museum's name and what's wrong, and we'll fix it quickly.
How do I delete my account?
Use "Delete My Account" at the bottom of the Settings screen in the app. Your reviews, photos, favorites and visit history are deleted along with your account; this cannot be undone.
